In March 2020, the Templars Route European Federation joined a consortium of 9 European partners to apply for the Horizon 2020 programme.
The project called “TEMPLAR – Fostering Europeanisation and Regional Development through Templar Cultural Tourism” aims to develop a Templar Route
- be sustainable in time, based on cocreation of pilot experiences,
- which allows for better use of the structural funds by the policy-makers and,
- promotes the economic and social development in the regions marked by Templars.
The members of the TREF and the scientific committee will support the development of the project.
