On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Napoleon Museum is open to the public. Come rediscover one of the most important figures in the history of France. Through four themes, immerse yourself in the life of the most illustrious of Frenchmen! Discover his military glories, his image, his reformist work, and enter a sometimes little-known intimacy... Located in the former Royal Military School, the Napoleon Museum was created following the wish of elected officials to pay tribute to the illustrious student who spent time there. Inaugurated in 1969 around three rooms dealing with Bonaparte's schooling in Briennois and the French Campaign, the museum has undergone few changes. In 1995, thanks to the legacy of Mr. Devinot, three new rooms were created: one dedicated to the works bequeathed by Mr. Devinot, a room devoted to the Restoration period and one to the Napoleonic legend. In recent years, there have been calls for the expansion and renovation of the Napoleon Museum. In addition to the dilapidated state of some of the facilities, the museum was no longer meeting the demands of the increasingly demanding public. After the Cultural and Scientific Project was drafted, the project was launched. Discover it for free during museum opening hours. #JEP2025
