11ème Fête Médiévale d'Ervy

Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3, 2025. ERVY LE CHÂTEL - 11th Medieval Festival. Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to midnight and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. I wander through Ervy: what's going on? The St. Nicholas Gate and the streets are decorated with coats of arms and red and yellow banners, hams cooking over a wood fire, gargoyles moving...oh, but I hear medieval music... and there are troubadours entertaining passersby in the middle of a medieval market...and over here a crowd of young people captivated by the tale of Voirloup and the makeup artist. My attention is drawn to the rising sounds of the park and the Place du Berle: these are the medievalists' camps reliving the Middle Ages. Rumor has it there will be a fire show. And there, are those birds of prey I hear? Yes, they are eager to show off their parade with their trainer. That's what the Ervy Medieval Festival is all about. Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to midnight: "The illusion of the hooked beaks." From the alchemical circus by the Bleu nuage company, through the fire show "Torches and Lights," to the Raptors show by the Morvan d'Ailes eschew, nothing will escape you... whether it's these funny moving gargoyles by the Cirkonflexe company, or these acrobatic and juggler-like strollers by the Ballarom company, unless it's these wandering musicians "the stock market cutters" or the crystal-clear voice of the singer Elise HUMBERT in the church. In the children's area, there will be games from another time, calligraphic makeup by Delphine or the story of Voirloup by the Sol Lucet Omnibus Company. A medieval market is set up in the streets, and no less than 3 camps that live in the middle ages, for a trip back in time. Don't be surprised to see a Templar trying to fight a Scotsman... Don't miss a little tour of our taverns, crepiottes, feasts or the great feast, prepared and served by our volunteers to restore you.
