During the autumn holidays, the Commanderie d’Arville offers a wide range of activities for visitors.
On 31 October and 1 November 2024, on the theme of Halloween, the Commanderie d’Arville is organising a Murder Party for young and not-so-young alike, in search of the Queen of Hearts’ birthday cake…
Someone has stolen the Queen of Hearts’ precious birthday cake… How can they help Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and the White Rabbit save their heads from the dreaded Red Queen? By embarking on a thrilling investigation through the Commandery!
Solve the riddles, question the characters, explore several rooms… and maybe you’ll be able to unmask the culprit!
For an extra dose of thrills, two night-time sessions are organised.
This investigative game is set up and led by actors from the Taprobane troupe.

The arrival of the school holidays marks the return of family workshops at the Commanderie d’Arville. Designed around the pleasure of discovery (exploring history, know-how, etc.), these activities can be enjoyed as a family or on your own, and are led by a professional facilitator.
Dragons have long been the subject of folklore and myth in the cultures of Europe and Asia. Hugues Simoneau, cultural mediator, invites you to discover the origins of these fantastic animals in different cultures through various representations. Participants are then invited to create their own dragon!
The work of the glassmaker continues to fascinate and inspire us, evoking the Middle Ages and their cathedrals. Stained-glass artist Julie Dahan invites adults and children to design their own stained-glass windows using traditional techniques. After cutting the glass, participants add a copper setting before cold-painting the motifs… and taking their work home with them!
The Commanderie d’Arville also offers guided tours and a game called ‘The Secret of the Commanderie’.
